The day

  • Bride's morning

    Getting ready

Morning is the opportunity for me to capture the atmosphere, the laughs and the emotions as well as the beautiful details, such as dress, flowers, shoes, jewellery. I usually arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony to the bride's house to capture all the details as well as to take a few portraits of the bride before she leaves for the ceremony

  • Groom's morning

    Getting ready

Getting ready shots at the groom's place are usually a lot of fun, the boys are having a laugh while perfecting the way they look then head over to the local pub for a pint before the ceremony.

  • The ceremony

    Arrival

Wether you the ceremony arrival just come down the stairs, walking along the road of a local village, or arriving the ceremony in a car it Is such an exciting time, moments before you are joined together in marriage.

  • The ceremony

    Getting married

the anticipation, the nerves, the face of the groom as he sees his beautiful bride walking down the isle, the happy and glowing face of the bride, the proud parents, beautiful vows, the 'you are now husband and wife' moment; all this makes the ceremony one of my favourite parts of the day. It is when the time slows down and it's only you and your loved one.

  • Portraits

    Formal

Although I love a reportage approach to the wedding, taking photos of how the day is unfolding I do take the formal portraits of the family and friends after the ceremony. I also try and make a few relaxed formal photos, where you are not looking into the camera, but look at each other, then the photos have this natural feel about them.

  • Portraits

    Couple

Afther those important formal shots are done I usually ask the bride and groom to spare some time to take a few of their portraits. For your portraits I won't ask you to pose and look into the camera, I want you to enjoy the moment and enjoy being married! Celebrate! Cuddle, kiss, laugh and I will capture it.
